Luke 10:8-9
“When you enter a town and are welcomed, eat what is set before you.  Heal the sick who are there and tell them, ‘The kingdom of God is near you.’”

Reflection
Jesus continues his instruction to his disciples that he is sending out to do ministry.  He gives them a set of instructions of what to do when they are welcomed into a town.  Because they are welcomed they will be able to heal the sick and proclaim that the kingdom of God is near.  He wanted them to know how they were to conduct themselves when they found a place that was receptive to the gospel.

Do we show new disciples how to find receptive audiences for the message of Jesus Christ?  So many times we just allow people to fumble and bumble along.  We need to offer them supervision and direction.
