Luke 10:16
“He who listens to you listens to me; he who rejects you rejects me; but he who rejects me rejects him who sent me.”
Reflection
Jesus is instructing his disciples that when they go out to share his message with others they are going with his authority. When they speak his message it is as if he is speaking through them. So, if people accept what they say, then they are accepting Jesus. On the other hand if they reject what the disciples say, they are rejecting Jesus and the One who sent Jesus.
Jesus instructs his disciples that they are ministering with his authority.
Do we teach new believers that when they share the good news of Jesus they do it with the authority of Jesus?
