John 15:8
“This is to my Father’s glory, that you bear much fruit, showing yourselves to be my disciples.”

Reflection
Often people wonder how they can exalt God and bring him glory.  Jesus has told us exactly how we can do that.  Jesus says that if we bear fruit by making disciples we will do two things: First, we will give glory to God and point others to him.  Secondly, we will prove that we are disciples of Jesus by bearing fruit.

It is very simple.  If we want to give glory to God then spread the good news of Jesus and make disciples.  If we want to have a proof that we are truly following Jesus then we need to spread the good news of Jesus and bear fruit for him by making disciples.

According to the standards that Jesus has given us, have you given glory to God and proven that you truly follow Jesus as his disciple?
