Luke 10:5-7
When you enter a house, first say, ‘Peace to this house.’  If a man of peace is there, your peace will rest on him; if not, it will return to you.  Stay in that house, eating and drinking whatever they give to you, for the worker deserves his wages.  Do not move around from house to house.

Reflection
Jesus instructed the disciples on how to find people who were open and receptive to the message of the gospel.  He told them to look for the person of peace.  What is a person of peace?  It is simply one who is open, receptive and willing to hear the good news that Jesus has to offer.  In order to be successful in sowing the seeds of the gospel into people’s lives, we need to find that person of peace that Jesus wants us to minister to.

Jesus didn’t send his disciples out and let them flounder around in their efforts to share his good news.  He gave them direction on who would be the most receptive.  He did this so they would not be discouraged and so that that their time and efforts would bring forth results.

How can we model Jesus and help new believers know how to live the life of Jesus and share the gospel of Jesus as well?  Spend some time today thinking about that.
