John 15:1-8
In the 15th chapter of John, Jesus uses the vine and branches analogy to teach us about our relationship with him. He describes himself as the vine and we are the branches. Without the vine the branches cannot survive. We need Jesus.
This week we will look at how we must nurture our relationship with Jesus and we must remain in Jesus. That will also enable us to bear fruit. The fruit we need to bear is to make disciples. We will discover this week that Jesus does not tolerate barren branches. That is a lesson we need to learn.
John 15 is full of rich and profound teachings. This week will be a journey of learning and growing in the wisdom of Jesus.
