Acts 16:6-8
Paul and his companions traveled throughout the region of Phrygia and Galatia, having been kept by the Holy Spirit from preaching the word in the province of Asia.  When they came to the border of Mysia, they tried to enter Bithynia, but the spirit of Jesus would not allow them to.  So they passed by Mysia and went down to Troas.

Reflection
On this national day of Thanksgiving we should be particularly thankful for the fact that Jesus has come into our world and gave his life for our salvation.  Give thanks today that the good news of Jesus has come into our lives.

We should also give thanks that we have been called to be the ones who proclaim the good news.  Are we the watchmen who lift our voices and proclaim the coming of the Lord so that all people will rejoice?  When we have the missional mindset then we accept that we are called to be the ones who proclaim the good news.  Let’s be thankful that we have good news to share.

How has the good news of Jesus made you thankful?  Why should we be thankful that we are privileged to share the news of Jesus with others?
