Acts 4:33
With great power the apostles continued to testify to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus, and much grace was upon them all.

Acts 4:34-35
There were no needy persons among them.  For from time to time those who owned lands or houses sold them, brought money from the sales and put it at the apostles’ feet, and it was distributed to anyone as he had need.

Reflection

When a church is operating out of an organic approach then the church will operate from the perspective of grassroots involvement.  In this kind of a system ministry and lifting up the name of Jesus Christ before the world is the point and there will only be enough structure to be able to accomplish those goals.  When a church is organic its organization will be simple.

The verse of scripture that we have for today shows that the early church’s purpose was to share Jesus and minister to the needs of the believers.  They only had enough organization to get done what they needed to get done.  There weren’t lots of rules or hoops to jump through in order to get permission to do ministry.  Ministry was expected so people just did it.  That’s what it means to operate from an organic perspective.

How do you think operating organically makes ministry more effective?
