Colossians 1:19-20
For God was pleased to have all his fullness dwell in him, and through him to reconcile to himself all things, whether things on earth or things in heaven, by making peace through his blood, shed on the cross.

Reflection

If all of God was emptied into Jesus then shouldn’t he be the Lord of our lives?  That’s exactly what Colossians says happened.  God was pleased to have his fullness (all of him) dwell in Jesus.  Through the life, death and resurrection of Jesus he reconciled all things to God.  That includes us and all of creation.
If Jesus did all that for us doesn’t he deserve to be Lord of our lives?
