Reflection
Let’s think on this: Because of our sin we were thoroughly and completely alienated from God. We were actually enemies of God. However, through Christ’s death on the cross and his resurrection he has paid the penalty for our sin and destroyed that which separated us from God. It doesn’t end there. Jesus, through his death, completely forgives us and he presents us holy before God the Father. We are so holy that we are perfect, without blemish and we are free from accusation.
Jesus who knew no sin became sin so that we might be made his righteousness. The only thing we have to do to receive the righteousness of Christ is to have faith in Jesus.
If Jesus has done all this for you does he not deserve to be Lord of your life?
