Great Exchange

Philippians 3:4-9; 2 Corinthians 5:21

This week we are going to talk about The Great Exchange.  In other words, we want to talk about an exchange of one thing you have for something that is much, much greater in worth and value than what you gave up.

We exchange objects in our everyday life.  Every day we exchange money for other goods and services that we need (e.g., gas, food, milk, education, …).  We exchange our time as employees in exchange for wages.  We exchange part of our wages for public goods and services (we call that taxes).

These exchanges that we make are necessary exchanges.  Some of the exchanges are good exchanges, some maybe we classify as not so good exchanges (although we need it).  The problem is that none of these exchanges address the one exchange that we need to make for not only the sake of this life but all of eternity.

We are in need of a GREAT EXCHANGE that only God through Jesus can provide.
