Ephesians 6:23-24
Peace to the brothers, and love with faith from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. Grace to all who love our Lord Jesus Christ with an undying love.
Reflection
These two verses is Paul’s sign-off. He has finished his letter to the Ephesians. What are the last things that Paul wants to say to the Ephesian Church? He wished them peace and grace. However, the peace and grace that he offers to them is not general in nature. It is the peace and grace that comes from a relationship in Jesus Christ. Paul ends where he began and that is with Jesus. For Paul all of life is a circle and it starts with Jesus and it ends with Jesus.
Is life like that for us? Is it all about Jesus? What a great way to end this study of the book of Ephesians. Our focus every second of our lives must be Jesus.
Make the commitment to meditate on the goodness of Christ every day.
Pray that Jesus will become or will continue to be the one thing that drives your life.
