Acts 10:34-36
Then Peter began to speak:  “I now realize how true it is that God does not show favoritism but accepts men from every nation who fear him and do what is right.  You know the message God sent to the people of Israel, telling the good news of peace through Jesus Christ, who is Lord of all.”

Reflection

Peter has had a new revelation.  Now, he knows that through the coming of Jesus Christ that God accepts all people and shows no favoritism.  Peter is beginning to understand that God is reaching out to all people and he is willing to change and give up whatever is required in order for more people to know Jesus.

Are we willing to accept the same revelation that nothing should be seen as sacred regarding the tradition and form of the church if giving that up would allow more people to receive Jesus?
