Matthew 13:27-28
“The owner’s servants came to him and said, ‘Sir, didn’t you sow good seed in your field?  Where then did the weeds come from?’  ‘An enemy did this,’ he replied.”

Reflection
The enemy, Satan, has no greater desire than to corrupt our hearts and minds with desires that take us away from God.  We cannot truly know who has sincerely given their life to Christ because the enemy is constantly sowing the seeds of our destruction among us.  We must all be very cautious that we do not fall prey to these temptations to stray away from the Lord.  We have to be careful that we don’t become the weeds rather than the wheat.

How does the enemy sow the seed of his temptations and desires within those who claim to follow Jesus and compose the church?  How can we fight and defeat this technique of Satan?
