Matthew 13:24-26
Jesus told them another parable: “The kingdom of heaven is like a man who sowed good seed in his field.  But while everyone was sleeping, his enemy came and sowed weeds among the wheat, and went away.  When the wheat sprouted and formed heads, then the weeds also appeared.”

Reflection
When we sow the seed of the gospel of Christ we hope that those who receive it allow it to truly grow and blossom in their lives.  However, No one knows anyone else’s heart.  Sometimes a person comes to the church with ulterior motives.  Sometimes it is about what they can get from the church.  The church is just like a field of wheat that has weeds growing in it.  It is a mixture of good and bad.

It is a fact that we can never be 100% certain whether a person is sincere or not when they supposedly come to Christ and enter the church.  How should we respond to that reality?
