James 2:18
But someone will say, “You have faith; I have deeds.” Show me your faith without deeds, and I will show you my faith by what I do.
Reflection
James is saying that if we truly have compassion on others then that compassion will come forth in the form of action. That is true concerning people who are living without the love and grace of Jesus. If we don’t want to see anyone live outside the truth of Jesus then we must do something about it. We must be activated and we need to take action to share the gospel of Jesus with others.
