Genesis 41:47-49

Reflection
The Pharaoh of Egypt accepted Joseph’s plan to prepare for the famine.  In addition, Pharaoh put Joseph in charge of the plan to save grain for the years of famine.  Joseph became the second most powerful person in all of Egypt.  Joseph made sure that the plan for saving for the time of famine was strictly followed.  What happened?  The scripture tells us that there was so much grain saved that they stopped measuring it because it was beyond measure.  That is what will happen when we wisely follow a plan of saving.

Would you have plenty to live on if you suddenly fell on hard times?  Should you start a plan of saving?
