“So I tell you this, and insist on it in the Lord, that you must no longer live as the Gentiles do, in the futility of their thinking.”
Reflection
Have you ever noticed that there is a lot of futile thinking in this world? What do I mean by futile thinking? What I mean is that it is thinking that doesn’t take us anywhere. It is thinking that leads us to a dead end. So many ideas that people come up with just aren’t valuable for us who are persons of faith.
So, Paul instructs all Christians to change their way of thinking. In fact, he says that he insists on it as a word from the Lord. In other words, Paul is instructing all Christians to change their way of thinking and he uses the authority of Jesus to show how important it is that this happen.
Today, think how, as a Christian, your thinking and frame of mind could change for the better?
