A New Mind

God’s intentions for us are not vague or uncertain.    We have seen that as we are working our way through Paul’s letter to the Ephesian Church.  God through the power of Jesus Christ wants to work in specific ways in each of our lives.  Jeremiah 29:11 tells us this:  “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”  Promises like this from God should encourage each of us.

Part of God’s intention for us is for our minds to be renewed and changed as we are formed more and  more in the likeness of Christ.  In order to realize  God’s plans for our lives we must move forward in becoming Christlike. In order to be Christlike we need  a change of mind.

This week we are going to explore how and why we need this change of mind.
