Ephesians 4:14
Then we will no longer be infants, tossed back and forth by the waves, and blown here and there by every wind of teaching and by the cunning and craftiness of men in their deceitful scheming.
Reflection
The alternative to not being grounded in unity in Christ is to have no strong foundation. Then we will be just like children who are immature and are drawn by everything that looks shiny and interesting. If we are not grounded in Jesus then we can be susceptible to every false teaching and new idea.
If we are grounded in Jesus and in him alone then we have the maturity to discern between that which is of Christ and that which leads us away from Christ. Being united with Christ grounds us firmly in his truth.
