Reflection
We might ask the question: “Why has Jesus given us grace that bestows this special ability of a ministry role upon us?” The answer to that question is that the ministry role that we have been given is to help us to make the church what it is to be. The verse of scripture that we are looking at today shows us that our ministry role is to be used to help ourselves and our Christian brothers and sisters be prepared for works of service. When this happens the body of Christ (the church) will be built up and encouraged.
When we discover our ministry role and allow it to function in our lives we strengthen the entire church.
