Ephesians 4:7
But to each one of us grace has been given as Christ apportioned it.

Reflection
When we think of the ministry roles of apostle, prophet, evangelist, pastor and teacher many times we think that those are special roles that are only given to certain people.  That idea has been advanced for a long time but that is not what the scripture says.  The scripture says that to each one of us the grace of Christ, in one of these ministry roles, has been given to us.  We all have one of these roles.  We are all called to be an apostle, prophet, evangelist, pastor or teacher.  We are all to function in one of these roles so that the ministry of the church will be complete.  Since “each one of us” has received the grace of Christ in this manner then it is our individual responsibility to discover our ministry role and then learn how to live out the role that Christ has blessed us with.

What have you done, personally, to discover what ministry role you have been given?
