Proverbs 6:6-8
Go to the ant, you sluggard; consider its ways and be wise!  It has no commander, no overseer or ruler, yet it stores its provisions in summer and gathers its food at harvest.

Reflection
This proverb tells us that the ant is wise because it is diligent and works hard and provides for the future.  The ant gathers food and stores it in the summer for a time when food is scarce.  The ant knows how valuable it is to save.  Have we learned how valuable it is to save?  Have we started putting away a little each time we get paid so that we will have something when resources are scarce?

If you have started to save and you are building a fund to meet those emergencies that might come up, then celebrate what you have accomplished.  This is another way by which you are viewing and using your money according to God’s Word.
