I will assign every dollar a name in a monthly budget, and spend my money on paper, on purpose, before the month begins.
Knowing where our money goes and what it is being used for is very important. If we don’t do this then spending a dollar here and a dollar there will accumulate into many dollars and before we know it we don’t have any money. Then we find ourselves saying this common phrase, “Where did all my money go?” When we assign every dollar a purpose on paper before we spend it we know where our money goes. Then we can control our money instead of our money controlling us.
