Proverbs 22:1
A good name is more desirable than great riches; to be esteemed is better than silver or gold.

Reflection
As we go through this process of learning how to manage our money well and use it according to God’s principles, we need to realize that money is far from the most important thing in life.  Living for Jesus and following Jesus is what we should always put first in life.  Our first concern is to allow the grace and love of Jesus to live in us and shine through us.  Who we are as people in the Spirit of Jesus is the most important thing.  Using our money according to God’s standards can help us to live well, but knowing and living for Jesus gives us true life.

Do you have your priorities in life straight?  How can you make Jesus more central to your life?
