Proverbs 22:6
Train a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not turn from it.

Commitment #4

I will train my children to handle money God’s way.

How do we break the cycle of generational debt and poverty?  We break that cycle by teaching our children a different way to view and handle money.  We need to teach our children how to handle money God’s way.  How will young people know how to use money if they are never taught.

If you don’t have children or your children are at home you can help model how to use money for the children in your life.  Maybe you have grandchildren or nieces and nephews.  You can influence them toward the appropriate way to use money.

Have you made the commitment to share God’s way of handling money with the children in your life?  Are you actively living out that commitment?
