Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
Philippians 4:6-7

How many of you have a relationship that involves a high level of commitment? A relationship that requires deep Commitment. a relationship where you are basically committed to go WHEREVER with someone else.
Through that commitment you are basically saying that you are committed to walk through life with an importance upon going WHEREVER without excuse, without qualification—just do it immediately. Being a disciple of Jesus requires that type of commitment.  Jesus definitely wants to accomplish something through the relationship He has with each of us. 
This commitment takes an in depth relationship. One which is built on communication and a shared intimacy. This is the role of prayer in the life of a disciple. Prayer keeps us grounded to the comfort  and strength of God. So this week  we will look at various New Testament prayers alongside historical prayers to help us stay grounded in God, find comfort, and find strength to go wherever with God.
