Following is Open to Anyone

 “Then he said to them all: ‘If anyone would come after me, he must deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow me.”

Luke 9:23

              We may all be invited to do various things and the catch phrase is “anyone” can do this.  However, there is always some price to pay.  On television there always are those infomercials which advertise some type of physical fitness program.  They say that anyone can do it and they try to make it look really easy.  Truth of the matter is that those exercise fitness plans are really hard.  A person has to be truly committed and you have to work out until you are ready to drop.  Then you have to deal with the sore muscles.  Anyone, could probably do it if they are willing to pay the price.

This week we will  discover that the Bible tells us that anyone is invited to follow Jesus.  Anyone can follow Jesus, but there is a price to pay even to follow Jesus.
