Romans 10:14-15 (NLT)
But how can they call on him to save them unless they believe in him? And how can they believe in him if they have never heard about him? And how can they hear about him unless someone tells them? And how will anyone go and tell them without being sent? That is why the Scriptures say, “How beautiful are the feet of messengers who bring good news!”

Reflection

God sent Jesus into the world to be God with us.  Jesus’ desire (because it was God’s will for His life) was that He make disciples, increasing God’s Kingdom here on earth.  Just as God sent Jesus, Jesus sends us.  In fact in John 17:18 (Jesus’ prayer for His disciples, which includes us – yes, Jesus prayed for each of us), Jesus said, “Just as you sent me into the world, I am sending them into the world.”  For what reason does Jesus send us?

The passage for today from Romans tells us.  We are called to bring the “good news” so that ultimately others will believe and be saved and join God’s Kingdom.

Remember, Jesus is God with us.  You are sent to show God’s grace and love to others.  Where is God sending you today?
