Philippians 4:12a
I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty.

Reflection
Too many times we find ourselves being discontent because we want more and we worry about how we are going to attain the additional resources that we need.  When we are in plenty we are often discontent because we worry about whether we will lose the source of our prosperity.  Instead of following the example of the Apostle Paul and trusting God in whatever situation we face, we lose our contentment because we worry about what we don’t have or we worry about losing what we do have.

The key is to focus on God regardless of whether we have a lot or we have little.
