Philippians 4:10
I rejoice greatly in the Lord that at last you have renewed your concern for me.  Indeed, you have been concerned, but you had no opportunity to show it.

Reflection
One of the ways that we begin to trust God completely is to see how God works through other people.  The Apostle Paul was being supported by the Christians in the city of Philippi.  Paul acknowledges that his friends at Philippi didn’t have an opportunity to send him help and support until that time.  However, Paul is so convinced of God’s care for him that he knew that he would receive the care and support he needed whether it came from the Philippians or from some other source.  Paul thanks the Philippians for what they have done for him but he is completely content in the knowledge that God will care for and support him whatever the circumstances he faces.

Can we trust God to care for us and support us even if that care comes through other people?
