Fivefold Ministry:  Apostle

Ephesians 4:7, 11-13
But to each one of us grace has been given as Christ apportioned it…  It was he who gave some to be apostles, some to be prophets, some to be evangelists, and some to be pastors and teachers, to prepare God’s people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ.

Over the next five weeks we are going to be looking at the characteristics of each of the five ministry roles.  Instead of having a devotional each day there will be a characteristic of the ministry role of the week lifted up and a reflection question.  I encourage you to think about each of these characteristics and jot down some notes on your reflection.  This process can help each of us to determine what our ministry role is and how to use it in the ministry of the church.

The ministry role of the week is apostle.
