Ephesians 2:20-21
20 Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, 21 to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen.
There is one very important word in our scripture today. It is the word “us.” This clearly locates the purpose God has for our lives in the midst of community. It also means that the great affirmation that God can accomplish more than we can imagine is not on the individual level but in the midst of community.
