Reflection

Reflection by Robert Driskell

Jesus tells us in the Gospel of John that our love for each other is a witness of our salvation, (John 13:35). In addition, Jesus also issues a command to His followers, “… that you love one another as I have loved you” (John 15:12).  In the Gospels, when Jesus was asked concerning what the greatest Commandment was, He included ‘loving your neighbor’ with the admonition to ‘love the Lord with all your heart’.  He said that these were the two greatest commandments.  Anything that is important to God’s heart should be important to our hearts also.

How do you demonstrate the love of others as yourself?
