Principle:
Jesus had no problem going to the places where people he wanted to reach hung out.
Reflection
When Jesus noticed Zacchaeus he told him that he was going to go to his house that very day. Zacchaeus invited all of his friends to come meet Jesus. What kind of people did Zacchaeus invite to his house? Zacchaeus invited people to meet Jesus who were just like him. Jesus went to where sinners gathered.
If we want to meet and connect with people who need Jesus then we need to go to places where they gather. We need to dare to go places that we wouldn’t normally go. We don’t go to participate in what they are doing. We go to those places to get to know the people.
If Jesus was willing to spend time with “sinners” why shouldn’t we do the same?
