Matthew 28:16-20
16 Then the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain where Jesus had told them to go. 17 When they saw him, they worshiped him; but some doubted. 18 Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19 Therefore go and make disciples of all
nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

Reflection
O=Obey
Prayer helps us obey. Obey can be a hard word for us. Often we cringe because it means following a set of prescriptions or rules. But obedience flows from giving ourselves over to God’s will. And how do we know the will of God if we do not talk with Him.  We often read our scripture today and say let’s do that, but we forget we need to be obedient to make
disciples. We cannot share a relationship with others we do not have. When we get upset because we want things done our way, we are seeking control  and moving away from the will of God. Is there anything in your life or the life of the church that because of the it happened it has made you mad?  Talk to God about those things.
