12 Then Samuel took a stone and set it up between Mizpah and Shen. He named it Ebenezer, saying, “Thus far the Lord has helped us.”
Reflection
In our scripture today, Samuel sets up a marker to remind the Israelites how far God had brought them. We need to mark these moments in our own lives. Those times when God has helped us or looking back to what we were like before we had God at work in our lives. How do you remember how far God has brought you? How could you start to keep track of those God moments in your life?
