Galatians 5:13-15
13 You,
my brothers and sisters, were called to be free. But do not use your
freedom to indulge the flesh; rather, serve one another humbly in
love. 14 For the entire law is fulfilled in keeping
this one command: “Love your neighbor as yourself.” 15 If
you bite and devour each other, watch out or you will be destroyed by each
other.
Reflection: Our scripture
today reminds us that we are set free by God’s grace in Jesus Christ, but we
are freed for a purpose. We talked about the statement “Love your neighbor as
yourself” a couple of weeks ago. But it is important to remember that we called
to love our neighbor as God has loved us. How much does God love you? How can you
show that love to your neighbor?
